Marisco Mayhem is a WIP short form documentary set in the Spanish region of Galicia. In recent years a number of factors from rising sea temperatures, to pollution, and overfishing have been leading to a decline in seafood stocks. This is having a nock on effect to the local communities economic outlook and culture. Through a series of interviews with local stakeholders and reflections from our guide Olmo, the film explores what it means to live in a rural community in the face of the ever growing climate emergency.
Directed by Crusoe Weston, currently seeking funding for completion.
